September weekends are usually the best. The weather is lovely and chores are fewer so there is plenty of time to relax and have some fun.
Ray and his daddy had some time to play tug; boy style.
Overheard on the patio, “Ray, pull it like you’ve got a pair.”
“But, Daddy, I don’t have a pair!”
After a rousing game of tug between boys, it was time to find a refreshing snack.
What should we have? Carrots? Snap peas? Sweet taters? Or maybe some Duck, Duck, Goose?
Sweet taters it is!
We also were not pleased about the outcome of the Raven’s game. We don’t ever like losing, but we especially hate losing to the team with that quarterback.
