I've Got a Lot to Say
I'm so glad it's not a too-mah Ray!!! I would have probably done the exact same thing as your mom because I'm just a big worry wart! I swear every week I come up with something that we “possibly” could take Athena to the vet for (like last night I woke up in the middle of the night and insisted that Athena has an ear infection….now that I'm not so groggy I think I would disagree with myself!).
The mom here – I'm a big worrier too. I know with people anyway, since I know it has happened, sometimes what is thought to be a simple skin tag – the report says it has symptoms of pre-cancerous cells. Now I don't know if the same has happened in dogs and if if it does then the report would say that.
Yep, we hate to have our dogs go through needless surgery HOWEVER until there is a different method found to diagnose cancer – I'd rather the needless surgery than the alternative of a cancer diagnosis not made until it is too late.
As for Ray – I am so glad too hear your grreat news.
Kim
I'm so happy that Ray's ok. I definitely think better safe than sorry, you did the right thing!
I agree – better safe than sorry! 🙂 You're a good mama, and even if it hurt a little, I am sure Ray-Ray appreciates you taking such precautions with him!
Thanks, all! I'm just a big worrier when it comes to him. I just love him to pieces…betcha didn't know that. 🙂
Since bullydogs are prone to mast cell tumors, definitely better safe than sorry! I'm glad it was nothing to worry about.
